A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump is necessary, but it requires serious preparation. This was announced on Friday, July 4, by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Such a meeting is necessary and there is such an understanding <...>. Both President Putin and President Trump spoke about this readiness. But such a meeting should be well prepared," Peskov said.
