The Chinese Foreign Ministry called for an early end to the Ukrainian conflict.

China is objective about the Ukrainian crisis, the prolongation of which is not beneficial to either side. This was announced on July 4 by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning.

"We are constantly actively promoting a ceasefire, <...> prolonging the Ukrainian crisis does not meet the interests of either side," TASS quoted her as saying during a briefing.

In addition, the diplomat stressed that the country constantly demonstrates to the international community its own "fair and impartial position" on the issue of Ukraine.
