A civil aviation pilot accused of treason for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. This was announced on Friday, July 4, by the office of the FSB of Russia in the Kuban.

"The decision of the Rostov Regional Court of 06/04/2025 on finding guilty of committing a crime under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia, the commander of an aircraft of one of the objects of civil aviation of the Southern Federal District, Sergey Nikolaevich Samoilov, born in 1968, entered into force," the message says.
