- More than a hundred ultrafast charging stations for electric buses will be installed in Moscow

117 more ultrafast charging stations for electric buses will be installed in the capital. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
According to him, the increase in the number of EPPS will allow more electric buses to be launched on routes.
Since January, more than 40 such devices have been installed in the city. Sobyanin noted that the ultrafast charging stations produced by Mosgortrans specialists are among the best in the world in terms of efficiency and reliability.
In the first quarter of this year, 67 million trips were made by electric buses. This is about 70% more than in the same period last year. In total, passengers used electric buses over 207 million times in 2024.
There are about 2,350 units of ecological transport in the capital's bus fleet. Electric buses run on 210 routes. By 2030, there will be over 5,000 cars in the city.
