An attempt by a Russian citizen to commit treason was stopped in the Kherson region.

On July 4, the FSB Directorate for the Kherson region suppressed the activities of a Russian citizen, a resident of the region, born in 2002, who planned to commit high treason.

"It has been established that in the period from May 2023 to February 2024, the person intended to establish contact with an employee of the Ukrainian special services in order to provide him with information about the locations of military facilities," the statement said.
