On July 4, US President Donald Trump announced that next year the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be held on the territory of the White House.

"Just imagine — we will hold a UFC fight on the territory of the White House. We have a lot of land there. We're going to build a small arena," he said at an event celebrating U.S. Independence Day in Iowa.

According to Trump, it will be a full-fledged show for 20-25 thousand viewers, which will be part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the country's independence. At the same time, the American president did not specify exactly when the match would take place and who would take part in it.

Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), admitted on March 9 that the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) tournaments could be held in Russia again.
