In Kamchatka, a man fictitiously registered more than 70 foreigners


A resident of Kamchatka fictitiously registered more than 70 foreign citizens at the address of his place of residence. This was reported on July 4 in the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"It was established that in the period from April 30 to June 11, a 33-year—old unemployed resident of the city, previously convicted of crimes in the field of drug trafficking and official violations, carried out a fictitious registration of 72 Uzbek citizens at their residential address," the agency said in a Telegram channel.
It is specified that the citizen submitted documents to the migration Department and the Multifunctional Center, but at the same time he did not have the opportunity to provide foreigners with a place to stay. A criminal case was opened against the man under Article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fictitious registration of a foreign citizen or a stateless person at the place of residence in the Russian Federation").
On June 25, the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (UMVD) of Russia in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk reported that an 80-year-old woman had registered 32 foreigners. It was clarified that the woman had registered them in her private home. A criminal case was initiated against the defendant under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fictitious registration of a foreign citizen or stateless person at the place of residence in the Russian Federation."
