The Ministry of Defense spoke about the work of military police fighters in the Kursk region

Military police personnel of the North group of forces provide round-the-clock security in the border settlements of the Kursk region. On July 4, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed footage of the work of Russian fighters.

The ministry noted that military personnel have equipped checkpoints and organized a security checkpoint to ensure the safety of the Russian Army and the organization of law and order.

It is specified that the fighters work together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region around the clock. The soldiers are tasked with ensuring the safety of military and civilian vehicles, as well as their inspection and inspection of drivers, passengers and transported goods.

"We are organizing events to set up posts, patrol populated areas, and take measures to evacuate civilians, deliver humanitarian aid, evacuate the wounded, and provide air cover from the enemy," said a soldier with the call sign Leshiy.

According to the fighter, recently the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have begun to attack quite often with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The press service added that the military is always on the alert, and local residents are sympathetic to such control measures. Soldiers take shifts patrolling in populated areas, responding to any requests and complaints from residents.

On June 3, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian troops had hit a Geran–2 UAV at an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
