Trump said he was not satisfied with the situation around Ukraine.

Following a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on July 3, American Leader Donald Trump admitted that he was unhappy with the development of the situation around Ukraine.

"We had a conversation. During this rather lengthy conversation <...> we also talked about the conflict in Ukraine, I'm not happy [with the situation]," he told reporters at the Andrews military base near Washington.

When asked about possible progress in resolving the Ukrainian conflict, he replied that there was no progress on this issue yet.

The phone conversation between Putin and Trump took place on July 3, it lasted about an hour. During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the situation in Iran and the Middle East in general, as well as issues around Ukraine. Putin also wished his American counterpart success and congratulated him on the national holiday — Independence Day of the United States.
