The Russian Ministry of Defense told about the exploits of the Russian Armed Forces soldiers in the special operation zone

On July 4, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of a special military operation.

The ministry drew attention to the actions of the guard of Private Alexei Kozlov, who performed a combat mission to cover the movement of an armored group from aerial attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of one of the settlements.

During the execution of a combat mission, while advancing a column of armored vehicles of the guard, an ordinary soldier discovered two enemy drones. Kozlov reported this to the head of the column and received an order to destroy air targets. Having taken a convenient position, with well-aimed shots from standard weapons, he eliminated the oncoming drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thanks to the brave actions of the private guard, the column was protected and the Russian military managed to avoid casualties among the personnel.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense noted the actions of the guard of junior Sergeant Albert Zinatullin, who served as the driver of the tank company.

During the combat mission, the tank crew successfully inflicted fire damage on the enemy under artillery fire from the enemy. As a result of the fire, the AFU equipment and up to 20 Ukrainian militants were destroyed.

Returning to the initial area, the tank commander noticed an FPV drone approaching the tank and immediately gave the command to the driver to withdraw equipment from the route. The junior sergeant of the Guards, using the terrain, was able to avoid the enemy's UAV hitting the tank. Thanks to his brave actions, the drone was destroyed and the combat vehicle was not damaged. In addition, the tank crew managed to complete the assigned combat mission.

On July 3, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had attacked the parking lot of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) manufactured by the United States and owned by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ministry added that an enterprise of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of Ukraine, an assembly shop and a storage warehouse for enemy attack drones were also hit during the day.
