One person died in an accident with a minor driver in the Moscow region.

One person was killed in an accident with a minor driver in the Volokolamsk municipal district of the Moscow region. This was reported on July 3 in the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

It is specified that the accident occurred on the 2nd km of the Ostashevo – Ivankovo –Brazhnikovo highway. It was previously established that a 15-year-old teenager who did not have a driver's license was driving a VAZ car. The minor driver lost control, causing the car to slide into a ditch and crash into a fence.

"As a result of the accident, a 20-year—old passenger of the car died on the spot, the driver was hospitalized," the agency said in a Telegram channel.

Now employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are establishing the circumstances of the incident, the Interior Ministry added.

On July 2, a teenager was killed in an accident on the M-4 Don highway in the Rostov region and six other people were injured, including four children. The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that the incident occurred during a collision between a truck and a minivan.
