Steven Spielberg's daughter is making her directorial debut in the horror feature film "One of Us." Milana Khametova's heroine brings criminals to light again in the family comedy "Not Alone at Home 2." 1990s star Alicia Silverstone tries on the role of a hot thing in the erotic thriller of the same name. Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character investigates the disappearance of a girl in the company of a neighbor suffering from hallucinations in True Detectives. Izvestia tells you which films to watch at the cinema next weekend.

"Not alone at home 2", 6+

Directed by Mitri Semenov-Aleynikov. Starring: Milana Khametova, David Manukyan, Alexey Maklakov, Julianna Mikhnevich, Alexander Golovin, Sergey Pukita, Eva Smirnova, Mark-Malik Murashkin, Dmitry Kolchin, Alexander Abramovich

The plot of the first part of the family comedy "Not alone at Home" in many ways (not only the name) resembled the cult Christmas movie with Macaulay Culkin. Then the heroine of little Masha is in a huge mansion with a babysitter and her friend, who turned out to be not who they say they are. To disrupt their devious plans, she set up a bunch of traps for them.

The continuation of the story is somewhat in the spirit of another famous painting - "Two: Me and my shadow." Masha changes with another Masha and gets into a children's camp under her guise, where she meets old acquaintances of criminals again. With the support of new friends, she sets up clever traps for the villains to expose them and make them regret all the machinations. Starring Milana Khametova and Dava again.

"True Detectives", 18+

Directed by Duncan Skiles. Starring: Jack Quaid, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Cecil Kubilo, Harrison Stone, Griffin Hood, Tim Kasper, Jim Clock, Janet Decker.

Seven years after the thriller "The Knot of Death" about a serial killer in a small town, director Duncan Skiles presents his new feature—length film, also detective, but with a bit of humor. The plot centers on a young guy named Simon, who, after many years in a psychiatric hospital, is trying to fix his life, which he hardly succeeds in — he is still tormented by hallucinations like insects under his skin. One day, he witnesses the abduction of a girl, but the police do not believe that the guy with such a diagnosis did not appear. Then he turns to his sarcastic neighbor, a retired security guard, for help. Visually, the film refers to the old school of detective stories of the 1980s, against which plot twists artfully give a sense of anticipation of danger.

"Hot stuff", 18+

Directed by Justin Kelly. Starring: Alicia Silverstone, Carl Glusman, Tammy Blanchard, Katie Courtin, Esteban Benito, Mike Rob, Jennifer Horn, John Wallman, Paul McCallion

A novelty for fans of erotic thrillers in the spirit of "Fatal Attraction", "Obsession" and the recent "Bad Girl". Alicia Silverstone's character, Sophie, a successful businesswoman, begins an affair with a young and emotionally unstable working—class guy who lives with an obsessive mother. When a new acquaintance, who opened the world to him and whom he is crazy about, decides to break up, the rejected lover, crushed by despair, turns into an obsessive and dangerous stalker.

"One of us", 18+

Director: Destry Ellen Spielberg. Starring: Giancarlo Esposito, Michelle Dockery, Andrew Liner, Zoey Margaret Colletti, Regan Alia, Jessica Osborn, Dean Scott Vasquez, Emma Meisel, Vernon Davis, Joshua Melnik

Steven Spielberg's daughter is making her directorial debut with the psychological thriller "One of Us." Not to be confused with the TV series of the same name starring Pedro Pascal. The original title of Spielberg's work is Please Don't Feed the Children, which translates to "Please don't feed the children." Although the action is also developing against the background of a viral outbreak.

In the story, a deadly infection spread by teenagers turns adults into cannibals. The five children who survived this madness find shelter with the sweet and benevolent Mary, unaware that something much more sinister than the virus awaits them in the house of the fugitive from the infected camp. Although the opening raises questions (for example, why the infection acts selectively), which expose the raw details, but at the same time it provides a rush of adrenaline.

"The Child Prodigy", 16+

Directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera. Starring: Miki Esparbe, Jordi Catalan, Angel Gonyalons, Anna Castillo, Berto Romero, Nausicaa Bonnin, Ruth Llopis, Montse Alcoverro, Daphnis Baldus, Raichel Delgado

A film where the dream of a great career and family relationships are minor notes. Little Wolfgang has a high IQ, dreams of becoming a pianist, and is preparing to enter a music academy. He also has an autism spectrum disorder and is not enthusiastic about change. The usual way of things in his life collapses when, after the death of his mother, he is forced to move in with his father, the frivolous actor Carlos, whom he did not even know before. It is difficult for a child to cope with emotions, and for a father to figure out how to approach his son and establish a relationship with him. Foreign critics call the narrative sensitive, intelligent and elegant.
