The Investigative Committee has launched an investigation into the death of a worker at a construction site in the Lipetsk region.

In the Terbunsky district of the Lipetsk region, an investigation is underway into the death of a worker in a fall from a height at a construction site. This was announced by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia on Thursday, July 3.

The tragedy occurred on the afternoon of July 2 in the village of Terbuny. A 48-year-old man died at the production site of one of the enterprises.

According to the investigation, the worker was carrying out the installation of floor ceilings and fell from a height of 7.5 m. He died on the spot before the ambulance arrived, writes GOROD48.

A pre-investigation check has been organized into the incident, according to the results of which a decision will be made to institute a criminal case.

At the end of June, a worker fell to his death at a construction site in the south of Moscow. A 30-year-old man fell from a height of the 30th floor, where he was carrying out work.
