In the Khabarovsk Territory, a concrete slab fell on a six-year-old child, the head of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, requested a report on the investigation of the circumstances of his death. This was reported on July 3 in the press service of the department.
According to the investigation, the child suffered life-threatening injuries when a slab of a well floor fell in the courtyard of a house in the city of Sovetskaya Gavan.
"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during construction or other work that negligently caused the death of a person")," the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said in a Telegram channel.
In May, a metal structure of the complex fell on a child at a playground in the Stavropol Territory, which led to the instant death of an 11-year-old boy. A criminal case has been opened into his death under Articles 293 ("Negligence") and 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
