The meeting of US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff with representatives of Iran within the framework of the nuclear deal will be held in Oslo, Norway, next week. This was reported on July 3 by the Axios portal, citing sources.

According to the newspaper, the final date has not yet been set, while the countries have not publicly confirmed the meeting.

"White House Envoy Steve Witkoff plans to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in Oslo next week to resume nuclear talks," the material says.

It is noted that this meeting will be the first since the United States attacked Iran's nuclear facilities. Officials from Oman and Qatar are also involved in mediation between the two sides.
