Five people have drowned in Stavropol Territory since the beginning of the season

In the Stavropol Territory, since the beginning of the beach season, five people have drowned while swimming. This is reported by the StavropolMedia news agency with reference to the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The ministry noted that compared to the same period in 2024, the number of tragedies has halved. Rescuers note that swimming in unequipped areas is prohibited. In addition, it is not recommended to enter the water while intoxicated. Adults are asked not to leave children unattended near reservoirs.

In the Primorsky Territory in early July, divers found the bodies of three young men. An 18-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl and a 13-year-old teenager were swimming in a lake near the village of Abramovka and drowned.
