More than 10 million viewers watched the Scarlet Sails Alumni celebration live. More than 6.6 million watched the holiday on Channel Five.

Among the broadcasters covering the event were also Rossiya 1 (1.6 million), REN TV (936.6 thousand), Channel One (763.3 thousand), Izvestia TV channels (59.5 thousand) and 78 (6.8 thousand).

The year 2025 was a record year for the number of viewers who watched "Scarlet Sails" on Channel Five. Thus, in the 4+ age group, the audience share increased to 8.3%. Among viewers aged 25-59, 8.6% of the audience chose "Scarlet Sails".

According to information from the official website of the administration of St. Petersburg, users actively shared clips from the event - tens of thousands of graduates gathered on the Palace Square to see the main show of the year. Many have been trying to take a seat at the stage since early evening, as evidenced by numerous videos on social networks.

The holiday brought together not only graduates from all over Russia, but also guests from other countries. More than 500 foreign graduates from Venezuela, Vietnam, Cuba, African countries, as well as from the republics of Belarus, Abkhazia, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan attended the event.

The Scarlet Sails Alumni Celebration was held in St. Petersburg on the night of June 29. More than 100 thousand schoolchildren from all over the country and from abroad came to see the unique spectacle. The main theme of the celebration was the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Excerpts from Shostakovich's Seventh, Besieged, Symphony were played on the Palace Square. The theme of Victory was continued in the water and pyrotechnic show.

The Scarlet Sails holiday was revived in 2005 after a long-term hiatus on the initiative of ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank, the Government of St. Petersburg and Channel Five.
