Two people died in an accident on a highway in Transbaikalia

Two passenger cars collided on the Chita —Irkutsk highway in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Two people received fatal injuries.

The accident occurred on the afternoon of July 3 near the village of Tataurovo. According to the ChitaMedia news agency, the driver of a Nissan Tiida car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Honda Freed car.

The prosecutor's office is establishing all the circumstances of the accident.

Over the past day, 340 road accidents have occurred on the roads of Russia, in which 30 people were killed and 398 injured. There were 16 accidents involving buses, in which 17 people were injured.
