A viper was spotted in a greenhouse on a garden plot in the Urals

In the city of Polevskoye in the Sverdlovsk region, a poisonous viper was spotted in the greenhouse of the Svetly-2 horticultural farm. This was told by the owner of the greenhouse herself.
In a conversation with the news agency " <url>", the woman noted that the snake was under a film that plants cover. She was warm there. The reptile lay still, but when the movement began, it crawled from one side to the other. The snake was hooked with a long stick and carried out to the forest.
Dmitry Berzin, Candidate of Biological Sciences, researcher at the Laboratory of Functional Ecology of Terrestrial Animals at the Institute of Plant and Animal Ecology of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, confirmed from a photograph that this is indeed a viper, noting its typical coloration with a zigzag stripe on its back.
According to the expert, the common viper is the only widespread venomous snake in the Middle Urals. Her bite, although it requires medical attention, rarely leads to the death of a healthy adult without a tendency to allergies.
In early June, it was reported that in different districts of the Leningrad region, two teenagers were admitted to intensive care after being bitten by venomous snakes. The first case occurred in the Gatchina district. A snake clung to the finger of a 17-year-old schoolboy. The second incident occurred in Vsevolozhsk district. A snake bit a 16-year-old student in both hands. At the time of the predator's attack, the teenager was intoxicated.
