The voters of US President Donald Trump believe that he has a much greater responsibility for the current state of the country's economy than was assigned to his predecessor Joe Biden. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on July 3, citing a survey by YouGov.

"Trump's voters are now more likely to say that he bears more responsibility <...> than Biden, by a margin of 46% to 34%. Until last month, Trump voters would have been more likely to choose Biden," the article says.

The survey of Americans was conducted from 17 to 20 June.

In the previous poll, in March, voters of the Democratic candidate and vice president in the former administration of Kamala Harris overwhelmingly said that Trump was more responsible for the economy.

On June 30, YouGov, citing survey data, stated that almost half of Americans believe that the United States will experience an economic collapse in the next 10 years. 45% believe that the United States will most likely cease to be a global superpower in 10 years. The same number believe that a complete economic collapse will occur in the United States, the company said.
