In Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the ceiling of a shopping center collapsed due to heavy rain

In Nyagan, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), the ceiling of the Oasis Plaza shopping center collapsed due to a recent downpour. This was announced on July 2 by the mayor of the city, Ivan Yamashev.

According to him, due to heavy rains in the city, house territories, parking lots, entrances and streets were flooded.

"A squally downpour covered Nyagan today. <...> An incident was also recorded in the Oasis Plaza shopping center. The ceiling collapsed in the building," Yamashev wrote on his Telegram channel.

The mayor added that no one was injured in the collapse. The consequences of the incident are being eliminated.

On June 13, as a result of a storm raging in the North Caucasus, a stage near the Anzhi Arena stadium collapsed in Makhachkala. As the Izvestia correspondent clarified, other facilities were also damaged, and power lines were cut off in a number of regions due to bad weather.
