Putin congratulates Lukashenko on Independence Day of Belarus

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko on the Independence Day of Belarus. The text of the congratulatory telegram of the head of state was published on the Kremlin's website on July 3.

"It is important that today, in the face of serious external threats and challenges, the bonds of brotherly friendship and mutual assistance that bind our countries remain as strong as ever," the Russian president noted.
