The man who attacked the doctors in Irkutsk was charged with attempted murder.

A man who attacked hospital staff in Irkutsk with a knife has been charged with attempted murder. This was reported on July 3 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Irkutsk region.
"The man has been interrogated and charged with committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder of two or more persons")," the agency's Telegram channel clarifies.
The Investigative Committee reported that the issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is now being resolved.
A man attacked medical workers at an Irkutsk hospital with a knife and a gas canister earlier that day. The deputy chief physician and the secretary of the institution were hospitalized in serious condition. Later it became known that the attacker had previously been treated at the regional neuropsychiatric dispensary.
