During a telephone conversation, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Turchin confirmed their readiness to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries. This was announced on July 3 by the press service of the Government of Belarus.
"Topical issues of bilateral cooperation were also discussed and the willingness to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries was confirmed," the government said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.
In addition, Mishustin congratulated Turchin on the Independence Day of Belarus and stressed the importance of this holiday for the people of the republic.
