Andrey Skulditsky, the head of the Ural training rescue center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was arrested for two months. This was reported to Izvestia on July 3 at the Yekaterinburg Garrison Military Court.

"A decision has been made to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months, up to and including August 29. It has not entered into legal force," the source said.

Skulditsky is suspected of abuse of office. The source of Izvestia confirmed the operational measures.

The day before, the Investigative Committee opened a case on abuse of authority by the Deputy Minister of Construction of the CBD. According to investigators, the suspect, then holding the position of head of the department, gave illegal instructions to subordinates to write down false information in documents that houses that did not meet the requirements for commissioning with significant violations were subject to exploitation.
