The situation with the sunken passenger ferry in Bali has not affected Russian citizens. This was announced on July 3 at the Russian Embassy in Indonesia.

"According to the official information of the Indonesian Foreign Ministry, there were no foreign citizens on board," the Russian diplomatic mission told RIA Novosti.

The passenger ferry Tunu Pratama Jaya crashed off the coast of Bali earlier in the day. It was clarified that there were 53 passengers, 12 crew members and 22 vehicles on board.

Later, the Reuters news agency reported, citing sources, about four dead. It was noted that 23 people were rescued. The search for the missing continues, but the rescue operation is hampered by bad weather conditions — strong currents and wind.
