An artillery crew of the 152-millimeter towed gun 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" of the Center group of forces destroyed the advanced command post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area in the special operation zone. Footage of combat work on July 3 was shown by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is specified that the coordinates of the target were identified using reconnaissance drones. After receiving the data, the gun crew performed a tip-off, after which 152-millimeter shells destroyed the advanced command post of the Ukrainian militants and the area where their personnel were stationed at a distance of more than 20 km.

The fire was adjusted in real time, which allowed the targets to be destroyed with a minimum number of shots. Having completed the task, the crew quickly camouflaged the gun and went into hiding. Such actions make it possible to maintain the unit's combat capability and equipment for subsequent firing missions, the department added.
