The crew of the D-20 cannon destroyed the Air Defense Forces and the AFU stronghold in Chasovoy Yar

The crew of the 152-millimeter D-20 cannon of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Unit destroyed an air surveillance point and a stronghold with manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Chasovoy Yar. This was announced on July 3 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry clarified that the positions of the Ukrainian militants were discovered by intelligence officers in an uninhabited multi-storey building. After the gunners received the task of destroying targets, they inflicted fire damage at the specified coordinates.

Thanks to this, the assault groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation managed to advance in urban development and clear several more buildings.

"The target came, it was quickly worked out, then, as it became known, the enemy's aerial reconnaissance post was hit with the fourth shot," said the commander of the firing platoon with the call sign Tor.

The D-20 calculations are working with high intensity. The fire is conducted from a distance of more than 15 km using high-explosive fragmentation shells, which makes it possible to inflict maximum fire damage to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The AK-12K is designed to conduct rapid assaults in a confined space.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the calculation of the 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled artillery installation of the Center group of forces destroyed the camouflaged command post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area of the special operation.
