- Putin demanded to determine the time frame for the examination of the Moscow — Petersburg high-speed railway project
On June 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded to specify the time frame for the examination of the Moscow–St. Petersburg high-speed railway project.
"I still have the same question. When will the design be completed and the conclusion of the state expertise be received?" — Putin said, addressing Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Saveliev during a meeting with members of the government.
Saveliev, in turn, noted that the end of the examination is scheduled for September 15.
On Wednesday, June 18, Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit inspected the preparations for the construction of the Moscow–St. Petersburg high-speed railway. At the moment, work has been deployed at all stages of construction, involving more than 830 people and 140 pieces of equipment.
