NYT has learned the details of the new US proposal for the Gas sector

The new US proposal for the Gaza Strip involves the release of 10 remaining hostages and the return of 18 bodies held by the Hamas movement in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in 60 days. This was reported by The New York Times on July 2, citing sources.
"The release of the hostages and the return of the bodies will be phased, in five groups over a 60-day period," the newspaper said.
According to the newspaper's sources, the new proposal is aimed at providing the Palestinian movement with more firm guarantees of a cessation of hostilities through a temporary truce.
It is specified that during the transfer of hostages and bodies, Hamas will refrain from holding televised ceremonies, which it organized earlier.
On July 1, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel had agreed to terms for a 60-day cease-fire in the Gaza Strip during a meeting with representatives of the White House. He noted that during this period, the White House will maintain contacts with the parties in order to put an end to this conflict.
Later, the Associated Press noted that the Hamas movement declared its readiness to conclude a cease-fire agreement in the Gaza Strip, but not on the terms of the US president.
