Miami, the National Basketball Association (NBA) club, has signed a two-way contract with Russian center Vladislav Goldin, who was not selected in the last NBA draft. This was reported on the association's website on July 2.

"Today, the Miami Heat announced that they have signed center Vladislav Goldin. According to the club's policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed," the statement said.

It is specified that an athlete can play no more than 50 matches during the regular NBA season, and the rest of the time must play in the Development League (G League) for a farm club, TASS noted.

At the National Basketball Association (NBA) draft, which took place in New York on June 25, 19-year-old Russian basketball player Egor Demin was selected at number eight by the Brooklyn Nets. It was clarified that this was the first time in the history of the NBA when a player from Russia was selected in the top 10 in the draft.
