A fire in a garage cooperative occurred in the north of Moscow. This was reported at the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the capital on Wednesday, July 2.

"A fire was reported at 3-ya Peschanaya str., 2, building 1. Upon arrival of the fire and rescue units, it was established that a number of garages had caught fire in the garage cooperative," the department told the Moscow City News agency.

According to the agency, 13 garages on an area of 234 square meters burned down.

24 employees of operational services and 7 units of special equipment were involved in the liquidation of the emergency situation, according to the website. kp.ru .

There are no casualties, the fire has been eliminated by now, writes "Moscow 24".

Earlier in the day, two cars burned down in the center of Moscow. By now, the fire has been extinguished.
