Roskachestvo experts warned about deception in service centers
In unscrupulous equipment repair services, customers can install cheap spare parts instead of the originals, charging the full cost. About it on Wednesday. On July 2, the Center for Digital Expertise of Roskachestvo reported.
In conversation with Lenta.Ru Experts noted that such schemes are especially often used in the repair of phones and laptops. Scammers also create fake websites, posing as official centers. After the "repair", the equipment may disappear, and the connection with the "masters" may disappear.
Experts also talked about other ways of deception: valuable parts are extracted from equipment, the cost of repairs is overestimated, referring to non-existent breakdowns, delays are delayed, demanding additional payment.
The head of the center, Sergey Kuzmenko, noted that in such cases, honesty takes a back seat. He advises to study reviews, especially negative ones, before entrusting the repair of your equipment.
On July 1, smartphone repairman Svyatoslav Melnik said that short-lived batteries are one of the drawbacks of the new iPhone models. The batteries in them often lose their capacity after 1.5–2 years, according to 360.ru .
On June 26, technoexpert Pavel Trukhachev recommended not buying smartphones with your hands. When buying a used phone, there is a risk of getting a stolen device or a gadget assembled from various spare parts. The expert called for taking such devices only from trusted sellers with a guarantee of inspection and maintenance, writes RT.
Also in June, expert Nikita Zubkov named ways to buy a smartphone without overpaying. To save money, the expert advised to keep an eye on seasonal sales. The most profitable offers, according to him, appear in late November and early December.
