Russian President Vladimir Putin has asked the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation to monitor the financing of the northern import. The head of state stated this during a meeting with members of the government on July 2.

In turn, the head of the Ministry of Regional Development, Alexei Chekunkov, reported to the president that the implementation of the annual plan for the northern import is on schedule, the level of implementation as of July 1 is 44%.
