Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov reached the third round of the Wimbledon tournament on July 2.

During the second round, he beat Japanese athlete Shintaro Mochizuki in five sets. The meeting ended with a score 1:6, 7:6, (9:7), 4:6, 6:3, 6:4.

In the third round of the tournament, Khachanov's opponent will be Portuguese Nuno Borges.
