Two workers died while repairing a water tank in Chechnya

Two people died during the repair of a water tank in the Baysangurovsky district of the city of Grozny. This was reported on July 2 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for Chechnya.

"A pop occurred on the territory of an industrial enterprise during gas welding repairs of a water tank," the department's Telegram channel says.

Two employees of the company died from their injuries. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of industrial safety rules for hazardous production facilities").

Investigators are conducting examinations and clarifying all the circumstances of the incident.

On June 25, a worker suffered fatal injuries after falling from a height at a facility under construction in southern Moscow. The Nagatinsky interdistrict prosecutor's office took control of clarifying all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the progress and results of the procedural check on this fact.
