Two cars burned down in the center of Moscow. This was reported at the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the capital.
"A fire has been reported in 12/6 Staropimenovsky Lane. Upon arrival of the fire and rescue units, it was established that two cars had caught fire on an area of 6 square meters," the department told the Moscow City News agency.
By now, the fire has been extinguished, RT reports. There is no information about victims or injured people, IA Regnum reports.
Earlier, on the night of July 1, 13 cars burned down in a parking lot in Odintsovo, Moscow region. The incident occurred in the village of Akulovo. According to preliminary data, the source of the fire was in the first row.
On June 25, a truck caught fire from a collision with an SUV on the M-12 highway in the Moscow region. According to police, the truck driver crashed into an SUV that had stopped due to a technical malfunction, causing the truck to overturn and catch fire. It is reported that there are no casualties as a result of the accident.
