The media reported the death of almost 20 people in an Israeli strike on a building in Gaza.

At least 17 people were killed in Gaza City after an Israeli strike on a house housing refugees. This was reported on July 2 by Al-Jazeera TV channel, citing data from doctors.

"As a result of the strike on a building in the Ez-Zeitoun area of Gaza City, where refugees were housed, 17 people were killed, mostly women and children," a source at the Gaza Baptist Hospital told the media.

It is also clarified that the number of victims of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday increased to 78 people, 40 of whom died in Gaza City.

Earlier in the day, Al-Jazeera TV channel reported that more than 30 people had been killed in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the day. It was noted that six people were killed in a drone strike on a displaced persons camp in al-Mawasi in southern Gaza. Another 10 people, most of them children, were injured.

The media also indicated that more than 100 people were killed in Gaza during the day as a result of Israeli strikes. In particular, 109 Palestinians were killed as a result of the Israeli attack, about 20 of them were waiting to receive food at the humanitarian aid points of the Palestinian enclave.
