There are fewer car dealers in Russia

The number of passenger car dealerships and service centers has decreased in Russia. This was announced on July 2 by the marketing agency NAPI.

In the second quarter, the number of authorized points of sale and services in Russia decreased compared to the first quarter of 2025. There were 16 fewer dealerships, and 40 fewer service centers.

The second quarter was a turning point, according to the NAPI. The number of authorized car sales outlets closing exceeded the number of those opening: for example, 84 centers opened in the second quarter, and one hundred closed. As for the service centers, 84 of them were opened during the same period, and 124 were closed.

Earlier, Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, said that new Chinese used cars began to lose value quickly. From January to June, such cars aged one to three years fell in price on the secondary market by an average of 10-15%.
