An unidentified object exploded in the hands of a man in the Chelyabinsk region.


In Kopeisk, Chelyabinsk region, an unidentified object in a box exploded in the hands of a local resident. This was reported on July 2 in the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
It is noted that as a result of the clap, the man was injured, and his hands were amputated.
"During searches in the man's homes, a sawn—off hunting rifle, ammunition components, two cans of gunpowder components, and other items of interest to the investigation were found," the department's Telegram channel said.
Criminal cases have been initiated on this fact under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "e" of Part 2 of Article 105 ("Attempted murder committed in a generally dangerous manner"), part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal possession of weapons and ammunition"), the SU IC of Russia for the Chelyabinsk region clarified.
On June 26, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kaliningrad region reported on a pre-investigation check after an incident involving the injury of two teenagers from an explosion in Kaliningrad. According to the agency, several young people in the industrial zone tried to set fire to an unidentified object, as a result of its ignition, two teenagers aged 14 and 16 received burns.
