A St. Petersburg resident who stabbed his wife to death in front of his young son while intoxicated has been arrested for two months. This was reported on July 2 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

The day before, the attacker was arrested. A criminal case has been opened against him under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").
