The Russian Embassy in Baku reported on the complaints of Russians about the use of violence.

Russians in Azerbaijan have complained about the use of physical violence, document checks, and visits by unknown persons. This was announced on July 2 at the Russian Embassy in Baku.

"Over the past 24 hours, the embassy has received numerous appeals from citizens of the Russian Federation staying in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including for the purpose of tourism. <...> According to some of the applicants, physical violence was used against them and their family members," the diplomatic mission's Telegram channel says.
