A criminal case has been opened in the Rostov region on the disclosure of state secrets against the General director of Rostovvodokanal, Yevgeny Yurkin. This was reported on July 2 in the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Rostov region.
"It was established that he sent an unclassified mail to the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Rostov region a set of documents that contained information that constituted a state secret, namely information about the critical infrastructure of Rostov-on-Don," the agency said in a statement, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The FSB stressed that the necessary measures are currently being taken to identify possible accomplices. It is noted that as a result of Yurkin's actions, unauthorized persons gained access to state secrets.
On June 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that provides for classifying information revealing the tactics of the state's foreign policy as a state secret. The president also classified information that reveals the basics of state policy in the field of mobilization training and mobilization as state secrets.
