CSKA has signed a contract with Canadian goalkeeper Spencer Martin

Spencer Martin, a Canadian goalkeeper from the National Hockey League (NHL), joined the CSKA hockey club. This was announced on July 2 on the website of the Moscow club.

"Goalkeeper Spencer Martin has joined the CSKA squad. The 30-year—old hockey player has signed a two-year contract," the publication says.

It is specified that during his career he played in 66 NHL games for Colorado, Vancouver, Columbus and Carolina, scoring 24 victories.

According to the CSKA press service, in the 2024/25 season in the American Hockey League (AHL), having played in 33 matches, Martin scored 20 victories. In addition, in 2013, the athlete won gold at the World Championships in the Canadian junior national team.

On July 1, CSKA signed a contract with Russian striker Egor Sokolov. It was clarified that the athlete played for Traktor Chelyabinsk at the junior and youth levels.
