In the first half of 2025, over 210 thousand contract soldiers entered the service. This was announced on July 2 by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting of the interdepartmental commission.
It is specified that more than 18 thousand people have been accepted into the volunteer units of the Armed Forces of Russia since the beginning of the year.
