- Moscow is disappointed by the lack of an IAEA response after Kiev's attack on the nuclear power plant

Moscow is disappointed that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has so far failed to respond to Kiev's latest attacks on the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant. This was announced on July 2 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
The diplomat noted that last week the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) once again showed their irresponsible attitude to the safety of nuclear facilities. As a result, by a "literal miracle" the nearby employees were not injured.
"We are disappointed by the lack of any reaction to these actions by the Kiev regime on the part of the IAEA secretariat, despite the fact that the agency's leadership is well aware of the attack itself and which state, to be precise, which regime committed it," Zakharova said at a briefing.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Russia intends to resolutely seek a proper assessment of the actions of the criminals of the Kiev regime by international organizations — the IAEA and the UN.
On June 27, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used a drone to attack a group of employees of a nuclear power plant in the area of work on hydraulic structures. As a result of the incident, none of the employees were injured.
After that, on June 30, the ZAES press service reported that a group of IAEA inspectors had examined the site of the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces drone, as well as a company car damaged as a result of the drone strike.
