More than 250 tons of products were sent by participants of the Moscow fairs to the special military operation zone. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, noting that now every tenth farmer helps the fighters in their field.

For example, Sergey, the supplier of the fair on Semenovskaya Square from the Tula region, has been transferring not only his own products since the beginning of his career, but also "makes trench candles from natural materials and a dry shower together with his children," the mayor wrote in his Telegram channel.

Maya, a participant in the weekend fair, has a husband and son who serve in the SVO zone, and she sends a car with groceries there every month. "Farmer Miron from the Bryansk region helps with vegetables and fruits grown with his own hands, and on holidays he prepares pilaf for the military border areas," Sobyanin said.

He also noted that the artists also support the fighters of the SVO. For example, the Mosconcert Cultural Brigade has organized more than a thousand performances by creative groups in new Russian territories for the military and local residents. In turn, the Russian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra regularly performs in hospitals. And the Great Moscow State Circus goes on humanitarian missions to new territories.

More than 61,000 books have also been transferred from Moscow to the field libraries of military units, hospitals, training centers and libraries in new territories, Sobyanin said. "Every case, every package, every performance is priceless. I am grateful to everyone who does not stand aside," the mayor added.
