In Transbaikalia, the prosecutor's office began inspections due to the destruction of infrastructure during heavy rains. Cases of flooding of household plots, erosion of roads and bridges have been recorded. During the rampant disaster, electricity was cut off.

According to the ChitaMedia news agency, in the Karymsky and Chita districts, the water level in small rivers and streams has risen due to precipitation. As a result, traffic was disrupted, houses and yards flooded.

The supervisory authority will check how the authorities and organizations responsible for the prevention and elimination of emergency consequences acted. Their work will be evaluated, including assistance to victims. The Prosecutor's Office will also provide legal assistance to the Transbaikalians.

Rains have been falling in the Trans-Baikal Territory since the evening of June 30. Precipitation extinguished wildfires, but brought new problems.
