According to the ChitaMedia news agency, in the Karymsky and Chita districts, the water level in small rivers and streams has risen due to precipitation. As a result, traffic was disrupted, houses and yards flooded.
The supervisory authority will check how the authorities and organizations responsible for the prevention and elimination of emergency consequences acted. Their work will be evaluated, including assistance to victims. The Prosecutor's Office will also provide legal assistance to the Transbaikalians.
Rains have been falling in the Trans-Baikal Territory since the evening of June 30. Precipitation extinguished wildfires, but brought new problems.

Earlier, on July 1, it was reported that a partial collapse of the bridge over the Malinovka River on the 3rd km of the Rakitnoye-Maryevka highway occurred in the Dalnerechensk district of Primorsky Krai. Travel is currently carried out in one lane. Specialists will begin a detailed inspection of the crossing today, on July 2.
