Russia beat Ukraine in the UEFA coefficient table

Russia beat Ukraine in the coefficient table of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) among men's teams, despite being suspended from European Cup competitions. The corresponding rating was published on July 2 on the official website of the organization.

It is noted that Russia ranks 26th in the ranking with a score of 18,299 points. Ukraine (17,600 points) is in 28th place.

This became possible due to the fact that Russia, despite the suspensions, annually receives a fixed 4,333 points from UEFA. Due to this fact, even without the European Cup, Russia scored more points than some of the countries participating in these tournaments, adds "Газета.Ru ".

On March 31, Maxim Mitrofanov, General Secretary of the Russian Football Union (RFU), suggested that the Russian national team could receive a wild card for the 2026 World Cup.
