A civilian was injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Shebekino, Belgorod region. This was announced on July 2 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the city of Shebekino, a civilian was injured as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," his Telegram channel says.

It is specified that a man with a mine explosion injury, barotrauma and a superficial wound was taken to a medical facility. He is receiving the necessary medical care.

The facade and glazing of two residential buildings were also damaged due to the shelling. The details of the incident are being clarified.
